At H Hotels Collection, we are passionate about fostering sustainability and supporting our community. Here is what we have been up to recently.
In honour of the recent World Environment Day and World Blood Donation Day in June 2024, we are proud to share two initiatives that reflect our dedication to these values.
Reforestation Initiative on Rhodes Island
H Hotels Collection is thrilled to announce a major development in the reforestation project on the beautiful island of Rhodes.
In caring about our home island deeply, comes the need to nurture. Since November 2021, H Hotels Collection has been a proud Forest Ambassador as major sponsors in the poignant project of Rhodes reforestation.
This year, we are sponsoring an extensive reforestation study for 6,500 acres of land near the Gadoura dam, in the area between Lardos, Laerma, and Apollona. This region has been severely affected by three forest fires in July 2023, leading to significant environmental challenges.
Our reforestation initiative is crucial for several reasons: it will help prevent soil erosion, protect the Gadoura dam reservoir, and combat desertification. To ensure the success of this project, we are collaborating with the organisation Για τη φύση – Common Nature and receiving robust support from various local entities. These include the Hotel Owners Association of Rhodes, travel agents, the Travel Agents Association of Dodecanese, Rhodes Marina, local businesses, and local authorities such as the South Aegean Region, the Municipality of Rhodes, and the Chamber of Commerce Dodecanese.

Volunteer Blood Drive at Princess Andriana Resort & Spa
In line with our commitment to community support, H Hotels Collection recently hosted a successful blood drive at the Princess Andriana Resort & Spa to honour World Blood Donation Day. This event was a remarkable demonstration of community spirit and people’s generosity.
The blood drive would not have been possible without the dedication of our incredible team members, guests, and the wider community. Their support ensures that our local hospitals have the critical resources needed. We extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who donated blood, volunteered their time, and helped spread the word about this important cause.
