Driven by the deep love we have for our home island, H Hotels show active, on-going support by sponsoring Rhodes running, cycling & other athletics events.

For yet another Spring, Rhodes will be the host of two major international athletics events. For yet another year, H Hotels are proud to be sponsors. 

The Roads to Rhodes Marathon run and Rhodes Tour cycling race will soon be kicking-off amidst nature in full bloom and an interchanging, urban tapestry that effortlessly reveals pages from the island’s rich history. Rhodes running and cycling activities like these are a sensational way of both exploring a destination’s natural and cultural wealth and keeping ourselves fit at the same time. 

In fact, Rhodes’ landscapes are at their best in Spring, as the sun is gentle and the island has left the sleepiness of winter behind. The routes of these athletics events generously offer idyllic vistas as well as glimpses into Rhodes’ Classical, Roman, Byzantine, Medieval, Ottoman and Italian eras intertwined with the contemporary charm of today. 

The Events  

For 2023, we are Major Sponsors of the following Rhodes running & cycling events:

Roads to Rhodes Marathon, due to take place on Sunday, 30th of April is an international running event, taking place for the 8th time this year. Offering runners a choice between the full Marathon (42.195 km), Half Marathon (21.097 km), 10 km and 5 km races, the Roads to Rhodes is for every runner level.

Rhodes Tour, due to take place between 4-5th, 11th, 16-19th March is an international cycling event, taking place for the 7th time this year. This thrilling cycling feat affiliated with 2023 UCI Europe Tour takes cyclists literally all around Rhodes island, from north to south and coast to coast with routes varying in distance.
